Welcome! I’m Dr. Maria Kim, a top rated dentist that is California board-certified who is proud to serve my local community in Arcadia, CA, as well as Pasadena, Monrovia, and the surrounding San Gabriel Valley.

I come from an extended family of dentists who love and respect what they do. My parents, brother, grandfather, aunt and cousin are all in the dental industry, drawn to the profession by a shared love of the human smile. There’s something about a genuine smile that just changes the way you connect with people, especially when the smile is a result of listening, caring and treating patients with dignity. It was only natural that I follow in my parents’ footsteps when choosing a career to help others.

After graduating from UCLA with a B.S. in Biology and B.A. in Art History, I earned my Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and have been practicing for more than 20 years.

I enjoy getting to know people by listening. Each patient’s teeth tell a story and it is often related to their physical and mental health. My priority is to teach the connection between your oral health as it relates to overall health. As a top rated dentist, I take time with each patient to learn about your history and dental needs, so we can come up with a treatment plan that’s tailored to you.

Our innovative technology helps making appointments and communicating with patients easy, and helps keep treatments more conservative and comfortable. I create smiles through smile design, integrating Invisalign® aligner treatment, Zoom whitening, BioClear® treatment, and more to create balance and beauty in your smile. I am committed to helping patients take care of their dental and overall health by addressing problems such as tooth decay, sleep apnea, and more.

Outside of the office, you can find me teaching yoga in Sierra Madre or spending time with my husband and fur babies.
