My child is 5 years old and has two rows of teeth in his lower jaw. Does he need braces?
No. The adult teeth will erupt between 5-7 years of age on the lower anterior. The reason why you see two rows of teeth is because the adult teeth are almost two times larger than the baby teeth, so they await "in line" until there is more mandibular growth.
